Houston Astros Birthdays

Jimmy Jones (59) played for the San Diego Padres and the New York Yankees before joining the Astros for 1991 and 1992. In 45 starts (and six relief appearances), he was 16-14 with a 4.23 ERA and a 1.340 WHIP. He struck out 157 batters in 274 23 innings, then joined the Montreal Expos for the 1993 campaign.

Tim Tolman (66) played for the Houston Astros from 1981 through 1985. He appeared in 107 games and hit .173/.233/.327 with five home runs and 21 RBI.

Jim Dickson (85) pitched in 13 games for the 1963 Colt .45s, going 0-1 with a 6.14 ERA and a 1.636 WHIP before going on to play for the Cincinnati Reds and the Kansas City Athletics.
