Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (66-48) won 6-3 (BOX SCORE)

Pena got the game started off well crushing a leadoff HR to RF on the first pitch of the game. Dubin started for the Skeeters and allowed 1 run over 3.1 innings while striking out 6. The Skeeters picked up 3 runs in the 8th on a Pena 2 run single and a Jones run scoring single. In the 9th, Garcia added a 2 run HR to extend the lead. France struck out 8 over 4 innings while allowing 1 run and Ferrell closed it out in the 9th.

Note: France has 145 K in 105 innings this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (51-63) won 9-4 (BOX SCORE)

Valdez put the Hooks on the board in the 2nd inning with a 2 run HR, his 25th of the season. They would get 3 more runs in the 5th on a Salazar solo HR, a run scoring on a wild pitch and a Schreiber RBI single. Freure started for the Hooks and allowed 1 run over 5 innings of work. Endersby relieved Freure and allowed 3 runs while retiring just 1 batter. Perez connected on a 2 run HR in the 7th inning and Valdez added another 2 run HR in the 9th to extend the lead. Conn closed it out tossing 2 scoreless innings.

Note: Valdez has 26 HR, 88 RBI in 96 games this season.


A+: Asheville Tourists (51-60) won 8-0 (BOX SCORE)

Tamarez started for the Tourists and tossed 5 scoreless innings. Abreu continued his hot hitting connecting on a solo HR in the 4th to put Asheville on the board. The Tourists blew it open in the 5th scoring 5 runs on a Daniels solo HR, Diaz RBI double, Carrasco 2 run single, and Abreu RBI double. In the 8th inning the offense added two more runs on Rodriguez and Daniels RBI singles. The bullpen was solid with Garcia and DeJuneas both tossing 2 scoreless to close it.

Note: Diaz is hitting .385 with 27 RBI in 21 High-A games.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (52-63) lost 10-7 (BOX SCORE)

McDermott started for the Woodpeckers and went 3.2 innings allowing 2 runs and striking out 8. Rodriguez put Fayetteville on the board with an RBI double in the first inning. The offense tied things up in the 5th on a Kato solo HR and Wagner RBI double. In the 6th inning, the Woodpeckers scored 2 more runs on a Sandle 2 run HR. The Mudcats took the lead in the 8th scoring 3 runs off of Calderon. Perry tied the game up in the bottom of the 8th with a solo HR. The Mudcats took the lead again in the 9th scoring 4 runs. The Woodpeckers responded with a run on a Mascai RBI double but that was it as they fell 10-7.

Note: McDermott has 38 K in 19.1 innings this season.
