Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (56-42) won 13-1 (BOX SCORE)

The Skeeters got on the board early getting 2 runs in the 2nd on an error and a run scoring on a double play. The Skeeters would blow this one open in the 4th scoring 8 runs on a wild pitch, a Dawson RBI double, Hinojosa RBI double, Siri bases loaded HBP and a Matijevic grand slam. Hinojosa added a 3 run HR in the 5th to extend the lead. France got the start and was phenomenal striking out 9 over 7 scoreless innings while allowing just 1 hit as the Skeeters won 13-1,

Note: France has 123 K in 92 innings this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (44-56) lost 11-1 (BOX SCORE)

Daniels started for the Hooks and went 4.1 innings allowing 8 runs, though only 4 were earned. The bullpen allowed a couple runs in relief. The offense was quiet again with the only run coming on an RBI single from Hensley in the 8th inning. The Hooks would lose this one 11-1.

Note: Perez is hitting .313 in August.


A+: Asheville Tourists (42-53) lost 8-0 (BOX SCORE)

Robaina started and was rolling in this one as he went the first 6 innings scoreless striking out 7. He came back out for the 7th and ended up allowing 5 runs in the 7th. The bullpen gave up a couple of runs and the offense really struggled on the night as they lost 8-0.

Note: Robaina has 68 K in 62 innings this season.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (45-55) lost 6-5 (BOX SCORE)

The Woodpeckers got on the board in the first inning scoring 2 runs on a wild pitch and a Giron RBI single. They got another run in the 2nd on a Wagner RBI single. In the 3rd, Perry added an RBI double. McDermott had a good first two innings striking out 4 but then ran into some trouble in the 3rd allowing 3 runs and walking 4. Ford relieved McDermott and allowed 3 runs in 1.1 innings. The Woodpeckers would get one back in the 8th on a Kato RBI groundout but went down in order in the 9th as they fell 6-5.

Note: Sandle has a .914 OPS this season.
