Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (55-42) lost 11-6 (BOX SCORE)

Brown got the start for the Skeeters and allowed 5 runs over 2.1 innings. The Skeeters got on the board in the 3rd inning scoring 5 runs on a Wilson 2 run HR, Siri RBI triple, Matijevic RBI single and Costes RBI groundout. The bullpen struggled too with Scheetz allowing 4 runs. The offense got a run back in the 6th on a Hinojosa RBI single but it wasn’t enough to overcome the deficit as they fell 11-6.

Note: Siri is hitting .368 in August.

The Skeeters also completed a suspended game from August 3rd (BOX SCORE) and the notable performance in that one was Shawn Dubin who went 4.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 10 K in the win.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (44-55) lost 2-1 (BOX SCORE)

Macuare started for the Hooks and lasted 3 innings allowing 1 run. Hensley tied the game in the 4th on an RBI single. Henderson tossed 3 scoreless innings in relief and the game went to the 9th tied 1-1. Unfortunately, the Travelers were able to walk it off for the 2-1 win.

Note: Valdez is hitting .280 in AA.


A+: Asheville Tourists (42-52) won 4-2 (BOX SCORE)

The offense jumped out to an early lead scoring 2 runs in the first on Berryhill and Dirden RBI doubles. Whitcomb added a 2 run double in the 2nd to take a 4-0 lead. Tamarez started for the Tourists and was dominant striking out 10 over 7 innings while allowing just 1 unearned run. DeJuneas closed it out allowing 1 unearned run over the final 2 innings.

Note: Tamarez has 86 K in 58.2 innings this season.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (45-54) won 10-3 (BOX SCORE)

Rodriguez started for the Woodpeckers and struck out 7 over 4 scoreless innings. The Woodpeckers first run came in the first inning on a balk. In the 4th, they picked up another run on a Hamilton RBI single. Loperfido added a solo HR in the 5th. The Woodpeckers blew it open scoring 4 runs in the 6th on a Wagner RBI double, Palma 2 run double and Kato RBI single. Sandle stayed hot hitting a 2 run HR in the 7th inning. Gomez allowed 3 runs in relief and then Gaither closed it out with 2 scoreless innings.

Note: Sandle has 4 HR in his last 4 games.
