Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (54-41) OFF


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (44-54) lost 4-3 (BOX SCORE)

Freure started for the Hooks and allowed 4 runs in 1.2 innings. The Hooks would get 3 runs back in the 5th with a run scoring on an error and a McKenna 2 run single. The bullpen was great with Olczak, Horrell and Hernandez all tossing scoreless outings but the offense was unable to score again as the Hooks fell 4-3.

Note: Hernandez has a 1.75 ERA this season.


A+: Asheville Tourists (41-52) lost 12-4 (BOX SCORE)

Lopez made his first start since July 14th and allowed 2 runs in 2 innings. Next in was Deason who allowed 5 runs in 3 innings. Berryhill got the first run for the Tourists on a solo HR in the first inning. In the 3rd, Abreu added a solo HR. The Tourists picked up a run in the 7th on an error and a run in the 8th on another Berryhill solo HR. The pen continued to struggled though as Holcomb allowed 5 runs as the Tourists fell 12-4.

Note: Berryhill has 15 HR and a 1.039 OPS this season.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (44-54) lost 5-4 (BOX SCORE)

The Woodpeckers jumped out to an early lead getting a run in the 2nd on a Stevens RBI double and getting solo HRs from Gonzalez and Sandle in the 3rd. Taveras started and pitched really well striking out 8 over 5 innings while allowing 1 run. The game went to the 9th with the Woodpeckers up 3-2 but the Wood Ducks were able to tie it. After the Woodpeckers got a run in the 10th on a Giron RBI single, the Wood Ducks tied it up again. In the 11th, the Wood Ducks walked it off for the 5-4 win.

Note: Taveras has 72 K in 60.2 innings this season.
