Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (52-40) won 12-11 (BOX SCORE)

France got the start but ran into some trouble when the Dodgers scored 11 runs in the 3rd. The Skeeters rallied back with 6 runs in the 3rd on a Shaver solo HR, Garcia 2 run double, Siri 2 run double, and Costes RBI groundout. They would get 2 more in the 5th on a Siri solo HR and Dawson RBI groundout. The rally continued in the 6th scoring 3 runs on a Garcia 2 run HR and Shaver bases loaded walk. Bermudez pitched in relief and struck out 7 over 4 scoreless innings in his AAA debut. De Goti gave the Skeeters the lead with an RBI triple in the 8th. Blanco closed it out with a scoreless 9th to pick up the save.

Note: Bermudez has 113 K in 82.2 innings this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (44-51) won 6-5 (BOX SCORE)

Lawson started for the Hooks and allowed 5 runs in 4.1 innings of work. Julks put the offense on the board with a solo HR in the 3rd. They got another run back in the 4th on a Barefoot RBI groundout. In the 5th, Perez connected on a 2 run HR, his 16th of the season. Salazar gave the Hooks the lead in the 6th with a 2 run HR of his own. Hernandez closed it out with 2 scoreless innings to pick up the save.

Note: Perez has 8 2B, 5 HR in August.


A+: Asheville Tourists (40-51) SUSPENDED


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (42-52) won 5-4 (BOX SCORE)

Calderon got the start and allowed 4 runs in 3.1 innings of work, but the Woodpeckers would start a comeback. The offense finally got on the board in the 6th on an RBI double from Williams and an RBI single from Rodriguez. Rodriguez added another RBI single in the 8th. McDermott kept the game close striking out 6 over 3 scoreless innings. The Woodpeckers entered the 9th down 4-3 but tied it on an RBI double from Sandle. The next batter, Brewer, drove home Sandle for a walk-off RBI single.

Note: McDermott has 13 K in 6 professional innings so far.
