Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (50-40) won 9-8 (BOX SCORE)

Bielak started for the Skeeters and allowed 2 runs over 3 innings. Dawson got the scoring started with a solo HR in the first inning. In the 2nd they got 2 more runs on Dawson and Hinojosa RBI singles. The offense added 4 runs in the 4th on Sierra and Dawson RBI singles and a Hinojosa 2 run double. Dawson then added a 2 run single in the 5th. The bullpen struggled but the Skeeters were able to hold on for the 9-8 win.

Note: Hinojosa has 29 2B this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (43-50) lost 8-5 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks jumped out to an early lead scoring 4 runs in the first inning on a Julks 2 run HR and Valdez 2 run single. They got another run in the third on a Salazar RBI double. Freure got the start and went 4.1 innings allowing 5 runs, 4 earned. The game was tied at 5 going into the 9th but Tejada allowed 3 runs as the Missions took the lead and were able to hold on for the 8-5 win.

Note: Valdez has 74 RBI this season.


A+: Asheville Tourists (39-51) won 15-7 (BOX SCORE)

The offense got rolling early in this one scoring 3 runs in the 2nd on a Diaz 3 run HR. The blew it open in the 3rd scoring 9 runs on a Stubbs RBI double, Abreu 3 run double, Correa RBI single, Whitcomb RBI single and Dirden 3 run HR. Whitcomb would add a solo HR in the 5th. Robaina got the start and went 5 innings allowing 5 runs, 4 earned. The Tourists added 2 more runs in the 8th on a Carrasco RBI triple and run scoring on a wild pitch. Moclair closed it out hanging on for the 15-7 win.

Note: Dirden has a .952 OPS with 14 HR this season.
