Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (47-37) won 4-5 (BOX SCORE)

Solomon started and went 5 innings allowing 4 runs, but they were all unearned. He also struck out 9. The Skeeters got 3 back in the 3rd on a fielder’s choice, Garcia RBI groundout and Gonzalez sac fly. The bullpen was phenomenal keeping the score tight. The Skeeters entered the 9th down 4-3 but tied it up on a Dawson RBI single. In the 10th, the Skeeters walked it off with a bases loaded walk to Siri to win 5-4.

Note: James has 16 K in 10.1 innings for the Skeeters.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (41-46) lost 3-1 (BOX SCORE)

Bermudez got the start and went 4.2 innings allowing 3 runs. The Hooks finally got on the board in the 5th with a Perez solo HR. Tejada tossed 1.1 scoreless innings in relief but the offense was unable scratch across any more runs as they fell 3-1.

Note: Perez is hitting .366 in August.


A+: Asheville Tourists (35-49)

Game 1 - lost 3-2 (BOX SCORE)

Freure started game 1 and pitched well allowing just 1 hit and 1 run over 5 innings while striking out 9. Nova put the Tourists on the board in the 4th with a solo HR. The game went to extras and in the 8th, the Tourists picked up a run on a wild pitch. The IronBirds walked it off in the bottom of the 8th though as the Tourists dropped game 1.

Game 2 - lost 4-3 (BOX SCORE)

Tamarez started game two and went 4 innings allowing 3 runs, 2 earned, while striking out 5. Dirden put the Tourists on the board with a solo HR in the 2nd inning. Guerrero added an RBI single in the 4th and Stubbs added a sac fly in the 5th. The game went to extra innings and the IronBirds walked it off as they completed the double header sweep.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (37-48) lost 15-4 (BOX SCORE)

The Woodpeckers got the game started off right scoring 3 runs in the first on a Diaz 2 run HR and Sandle RBI single. Tokar got the start but struggled allowing 7 runs over 3 innings. The bullpen struggled giving up 8 more runs as the Woodpeckers lost in a blowout, 15-4.

Note: Wagner is hitting .471 this season.
