Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (31-22) OFF


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (25-30) POSTPONED


A+: Asheville Tourists (24-31) lost 5-2 (BOX SCORE)

Brown started for the Tourists and while he struck out 6 over 5.1 innings, he allowed 5 runs, 4 earned. The offense took a while to get going but finally got on the board in the 6th with a Barefoot RBI single. In the 7th, Nova added a solo HR to make it 5-2. Sprinkle struck out 6 over 2.2 scoreless but didn’t score again as the Tourists dropped this one 5-2.

Note: Sprinkle has 39 K in 19.2 innings this season.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (23-32) won 10-2 (BOX SCORE)

Reina got the started and went 5 innings allowing 2 runs, just 1 earned. The Woodpeckers offense came out hot scoring 2 runs in the first on a Perry 2 run HR. In the second Urdaneta connected on a 2 run HR. In the 4th, the Woodpeckers blew it open scoring 3 runs on a Berryhill RBI single and Mendoz 2 run HR. Schroeder pitched in relief and allowed 1 run over 3.2 innings. Urdaneta capped a great game with a 3 run HR in the 8th inning as the Woodpeckers won 10-2.

Note: Berryhill has a .862 OPS this season.
