Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (42-30) won 4-3 (BOX SCORE)

The offense got on the board in the 4th inning when Jones drew a bases loaded walk. In the 5th they got another run on a De Goti sac fly. Conine got the start and was solid allowing 1 run over 5 innings while striking out 3. Martinez relieved Conine and went 1 inning allowing 1 run on a solo HR to Tanielu. El Paso got another run off of Ferrell on a wild pitch in the 8th. In the bottom of the 9th, the Skeeters tied it up on a Meyers RBI single. The game would go to extra innings and in the 10th, Matijevic scored on a walk-off wild pitch.

Note: Meyers is hitting .343 with 1.006 OPS this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (34-41) won 5-4 (BOX SCORE)

Mushinski got the start but was pulled after retiring just one batter and allowing a run. He was relieved by Lawson who went 5.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Tejada went 3 scoreless innings to keep it close. The Hooks scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th on a Perez RBI double and Gonzalez RBI single. In the 9th inning, Adolph tied it up with a 2 run HR. Julks then followed that up with a walk-off solo HR to win it 5-4.

Note: Hernandez has a 1.87 ERA with 49 K in 33.2 innings this season.


A+: Asheville Tourists (31-41) lost 2-1 (BOX SCORE)

Bravo started for the Tourists and went 5 innings allowing 2 runs while striking out 8. Correa put Asheville on the board in the 2nd with an RBI single. De Paula relieved Bravo and went 3 scoreless innings with 2 strikeouts. Unfortunately the offense struggled and was unable to score anything else on the night as they lost 2-1.

Note: Correa is hitting .400 in 7 games for High-A.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (32-43)

Game 1 - lost 8-7 (BOX SCORE)

Robaina started game 1 and went 5 innings allowing 3 runs, though none of them were earned. Dirden put the on the board with a solo HR in the first inning. Martinez added a 2 run single in the 3rd. In the 5th, Dirden added an RBI single. The offense extended the lead with a run on a balk, a Guerrero RBI triple, and Gonzalez RBI single. Jaquez came into close it out but allowed 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th as the Wood Ducks walked it off.

Game 2 - lost 4-3 (BOX SCORE)

Gruller started game 2 for the Woodpeckers and struck out 8 over 4 innings while allowing just 1 run. Mascai put the offense on the board with a solo HR, his 2nd in Low-A. Tamarez relieved Gruller and went 3 scoreless innings while striking out 8. The offense took the lead in the top of the 8th on Guerrero and Brewer RBI singles. Unfortunately the Wood Ducks scored 3 runs as they walked game two as well.
