Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (41-30) won 8-3 (BOX SCORE)

De La Cruz put the Skeeters on the board in the first with an RBI double. The Skeeters picked up 3 more in the 2nd on a Matijevic solo HR and a Sierra 2 run HR. Dubin made his first start since May 28th and went 2.2 innings allowing 1 run and striking out 3. Stubbs added an RBI single in the 4th. Scheetz relieved Dubin and allowed 2 runs. The Skeeters added some insurance in the 7th scoring 3 runs on a Matijevic 2 run HR and Sierra RBI groundout. France closed it out striking out 4 over 4.2 scoreless innings.

Note: Jones is hitting .347 in 23 AAA games this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (33-40) won 6-5 (BOX SCORE)

Bermudez got the start and went 4.1 innings allowing 2 runs while striking out 6. The offense got on the board in the 2nd inning on a Schreiber RBI double and Kessinger RBI single. They got another run in the 4th on a Hensley sac fly. After Daniels allowed 2 runs in the top of the 6th, the Hooks responded with 2 of their own in the bottom of the 6th on Costes RBI single and Hensley RBI triple. The RoughRiders tied it up in the top of the 9th. In the bottom of the 9th the Hooks loaded the bases for Manea who walked it off with an RBI single.

Note: Costes is hitting .335 with .848 OPS this season.


A+: Asheville Tourists (30-40) won 5-4 (BOX SCORE)

Brown got the start for Asheville and pitched well striking out 7 over 5 scoreless innings. The Tourists jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first on a Barefoot RBI double, Valdez RBI single and another run scoring on an error. Barefoot added an RBI single in the 5th to go up 4-0. The Braves tied it up in the 6th scoring 4 runs on Casey. Correa gave the Tourists the lead in the 8th with an RBI single. DeJuneas closed it out with 2.1 scoreless innings.

Note: Brown has 62 K in 60 innings this season.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (32-41) lost 7-5 (BOX SCORE)

Gomez started for the Woodpeckers and allowed 4 runs over 5 innings. Mascai put the offense on the board in the first on a bases loaded walk. He also added a sac fly in the 2nd inning. In the 5th they scored a run on a wild pitch and then in the 7th, Perry added a 2 run triple to give the Woodpeckers the lead. Rodriguez relieved Gomez and allowed 3 runs in the 8th as the Wood Ducks took the lead and won 7-5.

Note: Mascai has a .955 OPS in 7 games in Low-A.
