Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (35-27) lost 10-7 (BOX SCORE)

Hinojosa put the Skeeters on the board in the first with a solo HR. In the 2nd they got 4 runs on a run scoring double play, Hinojosa RBI single, and Meyers 2 run HR. Hinojosa and Meyers were at it again in the 4th with RBI singles to put the Skeeters ahead. Conine started for the Skeeters and allowed 7 runs over 5 innings of work. Hansen went the last 3 innings allowing 3 runs and the offense was unable to mount a comeback as they fell 10-7.

Note: Meyers has a 1.006 OPS with 16 HR this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (28-37) lost 3-0 (BOX SCORE)

Lawson started for the Hooks and went 4.2 innings allowing 2 runs. Olczak closed out the 5th. He was relieved by Endersby who went 4 innings and allowed just 1 run on 1 hit. The offense put together 8 hits and drew 4 walks but were unable to scratch any runs across as they lost 3-0.

Note: Endersby has a 3.74 ERA in AA.


A+: Asheville Tourists (27-36) POSTPONED


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (28-35) won 8-4 (BOX SCORE)

Barry pitched the first inning and allowed 1 unearned run. He was relieved by Gruller who allowed 2 runs over 3 innings. Corona put the Woodpeckers on the board in the second with a 2 run single. In the 4th, Perry tied the game up with an RBI double. Jaquez tossed a scoreless inning in relief and then Holcomb tossed 4 scoreless as the game went to extra innings. In the 11th, the Woodpeckers scored 5 runs with 2 on an error, an Urdaneta 2 run single, and another on a Corona RBI single. Procopio allowed 1 run in the bottom of the 11th but held on for the win.

Note: Berryhill is hitting .380 in July.
