Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (34-25) won 3-1 (BOX SCORE)

Solomon got the start and was really good allowing 1 hit and 1 run over 7 innings while striking out 8. Shaver put the Skeeters on the board in the 5th with a 2 run HR to right center. De La Cruz added a sac fly in the 6th for the 3rd run. Pruitt threw a scoreless 8th and gave way to Blanco who closed it out with a scoreless 9th.

Note: Siri has a .929 OPS this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (26-35) won 4-1 (BOX SCORE)

Rosado started and allowed 1 run over 3 innings of work. The Hooks got on the board in the first on a Perez sac fly. In the 3rd, Kessinger added a 2 run HR to make it 3-1. Rosado was relieved by Hernandez who tossed two scoreless innings. Leon added an RBI single in the 8th inning for some insurance. Mushinski closed it out tossing 4 scoreless innings.

Note: Leon is hitting .304 since the beginning of June.


A+: Asheville Tourists (27-33) won 11-4 (BOX SCORE)

Tyler Brown started for the Tourists and pitched really well allowing just 1 run over 6 innings with 7 strikeouts. Whitcomb put the Tourists on the board in the first with a solo HR. In the second the offense got two more runs on a Nova RBI single and a run scoring on a double play. The offense blew it open in the 4th scoring 6 runs on an Arias 3 run HR and a Whitcomb 3 run HR. Holderbach added a 2 run HR in the 8th. Moclair allowed 3 runs but closed it out in the 9th.

Note: Nova is hitting .371 with 2 2B, 2 HR over his last 9 games.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (26-34) lost 16-8 (BOX SCORE)

The game started well for the Woodpeckers when Berryhill put them on the board with a 3 run HR in the first. In the 3rd, they picked up 2 more runs on Perry and Ramirez RBI singles. Berryhill added another HR, this time a 2 run shot in the 4th. Schroeder started and allowed 7 runs over 3.2 innings of work. Holcomb allowed a run in relief and then Reina allowed 6 runs, 5 earned, while retiring just one batter. Berryhill got one run back in the 9th on an RBI double but the Woodpeckers lost 16-8.

Note: Berryhill has 4 HR, 10 RBI over his last 3 games.
