Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (25-17) lost 5-3 (BOX SCORE)

Conine started for the Skeeters and went 4 innings allowing 1 run. He was relieved by Rodriguez who went 1.2 innings allowing 1 run. The offense finally got on the board in the 7th when Siri scored on a passed ball. Ferrell pitched into the 9th and allowed 3 runs, though they were all unearned. The Skeeters got two runs back in the 9th but it wasn’t enough as they dropped this one 5-3.

Note: Conine has a 3.67 ERA this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (20-25) won 4-0 (BOX SCORE)

Lee got the scoring started crushing a 3 run HR in the first inning, his 5th HR in AA. In the 4th, Adolph added a solo HR to make it 4-0. Thats all the offense they would need behind Brown who tossed 6 scoreless innings and struck out 9. He was relieved by Hernandez who had 2 scoreless innings with 3 strikeouts in relief. DeJuneas closed it out with a scoreless 9th as the Hooks won 4-0.

Note: Brown has 29 K over his last 16 innings.


A+: Asheville Tourists (20-24) won 7-1 (BOX SCORE)

Asheville jumped out to an early lead getting an RBI single from Schreiber in the first. They picked up 3 in the 2nd inning on a Carrasco RBI double and McKenna RBI single. Brown started for the Tourists and pitched really well tossing 5 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts. The offense added some insurance scoring 3 in the 8th on an Abreu sac fly, Orr RBI double and Carrasco RBI double. Freure allowed 1 run in 3 relief innings and Horrell closed it out with a scoreless 9th.

Note: McKenna is hitting .308 with 30 RBI in 39 game this season.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (17-26) won 6-2 (BOX SCORE)

Plumlee started for the Woodpeckers and pitched really well allowing just 1 run over 5 innings with 6 strikeouts. The offense struggled early but finally broke through in the 6th getting 3 runs on a wild pitch, a Perry RBI groundout, and a Brewer RBI single. They picked up 2 more in the 8th on a Berryhill sac fly and error and one more in the 9th on a Corona RBI double. Barry closed it out allowing just 1 unearned run over the final 4 innings.

Note: Plumlee has a 1.37 ERA in 19.2 innings this season.
