Yes. Myles Straw. Slugger extraordinaire. His just-barely solo homer in the second and RBI single in the seventh were all the RBI the Astros would need behind the dazzling and baffling brilliance of Zack Greinke.
Playing with a depleted lineup, it was just enough for the Astros' ninth straight win and another series win, with the final game against Baltimore tomorrow.
Here’s Myles (Babe) Straw’s homer. His second of the year.

And here’s his RBI single. Note the aggression and decisiveness of his swing.

Credit to Chas McCormick for aggressive baserunning, first to beat out an infield single, and second for scoring from first on a shallow fly.
McCormick accounted for the third RBI in the eighth inning, sacrificing Yuli Gurriel who singled, followed by a Michael Brantley single and a Yordan Alvarez walk to load the bases for McCormick.
Greinke completed 7.1 innings, giving up five hits, one walk, with four strikeouts. He worked around a Trey Mancini leadoff double in the seventh inning to preserve the Astros lead. The only Orioles run came on a third-inning Cedric Mullins sac fly which scored Pedro Severino, who walked in front of a Pat Valaika single.
Game three in Baltimore is 6:05 CDT. Jose Urquidy goes for the Stros against former Astros product Thomas Eshelman.
