Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (22-14) won 8-5 (BOX SCORE)

Torres started and gave up a lead-off HR before he was pulled. Martinez relieved Torres and allowed 3 runs over 3 innings of work. The offense finally got on the board in the 5th on a Meyers sac fly. In the 4th, they picked up 2 more runs on a Dawson RBI double and De Goti groundout. The Skeeters blew it open in the 7th scoring 5 runs on a De Goti bases loaded walk, Dawson RBI groundout, Hinojosa RBI single, and De La Cruz 2 run double. Scheetz, Rodriguez, and Blanco all had scoreless outings in relief.

Note: De La Cruz is hitting .313 with a .838 OPS this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (18-21)

Game 1 - won 4-2 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks scored all 4 runs in the 2nd inning with a barrage of HRs including a solo HR from Hensley, 2 run HR from Adams, and solo HR from Taylor. Record started and went 5.2 innings allowing 2 runs. Hernandez closed it out striking out 2 over 1.1 innings as he picked up the save.

Note: Leon is hitting .325 with 4 HR, 9 RBI in June.

Game 2 - lost 1-0 (BOX SCORE)

Bermudez got the start and pitched really well striking out 7 over 5.1 innings while allowing just 1 run. Unfortunately it was a rough game for the offense as they picked up just 4 hits, all singles, and dropped game two 1-0.


A+: Asheville Tourists (17-21) lost 9-8 (BOX SCORE)

Endersby started and struck out 7 over 3.1 innings as he allowed 2 runs. The Tourists got on the board in the 3rd with a Barefoot 2 run HR and a Valdez 3 run HR. In the 4th, they got 3 more runs on McKenna solo HR and a Valdez 2 run HR. Macuare struggled in relief though allowing 7 runs, 6 earned over 3.2 innings. Casey struck out 4 over 2 scoreless but the offense was unable to rally and lost 9-8.

Note: McKenna is hitting .308 with 11 HR this season.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (15-23) lost 9-8 (BOX SCORE)

The Woodpeckers picked up a run in the first on an Arias groundout but the Mudcats would respond with 5 in the bottom of the first off of Plumlee. The offense battled back getting 2 in the second on a balk and a run scoring on a groundout. Urdaneta added a sac fly in the 4th. In the 5th they took the lead on a run scoring on a passed ball and a 2 run HR from Berryhill. Taveras was unable to hold the lead as he gave up 2 runs and the offense was unable to make a comeback late.
