Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (21-14) OFF


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (17-20) lost 8-4 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks got on the board first picking up 2 runs in the first on an Adams sac fly and a Leon RBI single. France got the start and struggled a bit as he allowed 4 runs over 4 innings of work. In the 4th, Leon connected on a 2 run HR, his 6th of the season. Lawson tossed 3 scoreless innings in relief. DeJuneas allowed 4 runs in 2 innings as the Hooks dropped this one 8-4.

Note: Leon is hitting .325 with 4 HR, 9 RBI in June.


A+: Asheville Tourists (17-20) won 7-5 (BOX SCORE)

Cody started and went 4 innings allowing 3 runs, 2 earned. The offense picked up 3 runs in the first on a Barefoot 2 run HR and a Schreiber solo HR. In the 2nd, McKenna added an RBI single. In the 5th inning, the Tourists extended the lead on a solo HR from Perez and another solo HR from Schreiber. Ceballos had a scoreless inning in relief and Ruppenthal allowed 1 earned run over 3 innings. Schreiber hit his third HR of the game with a solo HR in the 7th. Horrell tossed a scoreless 9th to close it.

Note: Schreiber is hitting .297 with 9 HR this season.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (15-22) won 14-6 (BOX SCORE)

The Woodpeckers got on the board first getting a run in the first inning on a Brewer solo HR. They would blow it open in the 3rd scoring 8 runs on Correa RBI single, Brewer 2 run double, Dirden 3 run HR, and Berryhill solo HR. Barry started and allowed 4 runs over 3 innings. Tamarez and Jaquez had scoreless outings at the Woodpeckers would continue to score more runs. The offense put up 5 more in the 8th on an Arias RBI single, Dirden RBI groundout, and Berryhill 3 run HR. Sprinkle closed it out with 1.1 scoreless.

Note: Whitcomb has 8 SB this season.
