Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (1-0) won 9-4 (BOX SCORE)

Dubin got the opening day start for the Skeeters last night and went 4.1 innings allowing 3 earned runs and striking out 4. The offense got on the board in the second on a Hinojosa RBI double. In the third, the Skeeters put up 5 runs on a De Goti RBI single, Siri 2 run single, Hinojosa sac fly, and Meyers RBI single. In the 6th they picked up 3 more runs on a Siri RBI single and a Meyers 2 run double. The bullpen was solid with Garza closing it out by throwing 2.1 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (2-1) won 6-1 (BOX SCORE)

Bermudez made his 2021 debut and pitched really well.......... Hensley got the scoring started for the Hooks with a 2 run HR in the first inning. This was followed with a Gonzalez solo HR in the second inning. In the third, Leon lead off with a double and came around to score on another 2 run HR from Hensley to make it 5-1. Hensley added an RBI single in the 6th to make it 6-1. Record relieved Bermudez and tossed 3 scoreless innings, despite 6 walks. Hernandez closed it out with a scoreless 9th.


A+: Asheville Tourists (2-1) won 11-4 (BOX SCORE)

Ruppenthal got the start for the Tourists last night and was solid allowing two runs over 5 innings of work. But the story was Luis Santana. After an RBI triple from Valdez in the first, Santana followed with a 3 run HR two batters later. In the third, Santana connected on another HR, this time a 2 run shot. The Tourists got two more runs that inning on a Krabbe double and a Rodriguez RBI single. Then in the 5th, Santana lead off with a double and came around to score on an RBI single from Barber. Rodriguez would add another RBI single to make it 10-2. Ruppenthal was relieved by Endersby who allowed 2 runs over the final four innings as the Tourists won 11-4.


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (0-3) lost 12-2 (BOX SCORE)

Mejias started for Fayetteville and really struggled. He lasted just 3 innings allowing 7 runs, 6 earned. Barefoot got two runs back for the Woodpeckers on a 2 run double in the 4th inning. Holcomb relieved Mejias and tossed two scoreless innings. De Paula came in next and gave up 5 runs over just 1.2 innings as the game really got away. Jaquez tossed 1.1 scoreless in relief but they fell by a score of 12-2.
