On the heels of news that Framber Valdez’ ring finger injury may jeopardize his entire 2021 season, a wave of COVID sweeping over the Houston Astros pitcher room, and news that pitching prospect Forrest Whitley is dealing with a sore arm of his own, the Houston Astros have made a move in free agency to bolster the thinning rotation depth.

Right hander Jake Odorizzi is signed to a 2 year deal with a player option and many incentives, Jeff Passan reports.
