Game one of the 2021 World Series.
Both teams got here in impressive fashion, the Astros beating the Boston Red Sox in six games, the Braves beating the Los Angeles Dodgers in six as well.
The Astros announced their roster today. Unfortunately, the Astros ace, Lance McCulllers, will not be available for this, the last series of the year. Jake Meyers was left off the roster due to the shoulder injury he suffered earlier in the playoffs. In a surprise to some, he was replaced by Marwin Gonzalez instead of third catcher Garrett Stubbs.
Here’s the roster.
