Game 1 of the 2021 ALCS, the fifth straight trip for the Astros. They've won 2 and lost 2, and tonight they face their nemesis in the 2019 affair, the Boston Red Sox. The RedSox came in as overwhelming favorites in 2019, having the best record in baseball that year, but this year the Sox take a different road, getting in via the Wild Card, beating the Yankees and then the Rays.

With Lance McCullers out for this series, the Astros send Frmaber Valdez to the mound to face an experienced opponent, Chris Sale.
