The Astros have lost the last three games in LA in tragic fashion, but hope to find a measure of dignity in their final game against the Angels before heading for the even tougher fields in Oakland.
Astros pitching has allowed 23 runs in these last three games, and it is now up to Framber Valdez to stop the madness. Valdez has been one of the pleasant surprises for the Astros this year, posting a 3-2 record and a 2.58 ERA.
Panamanian Jaime Barrios is starting for the Angels, probably in an opener role.
Here’s the Astros lineup.
