Game 60. The last game of the season.

2020: We hardly knew thee.

The Astros need a win to avoid being THAT team; the one that made the playoffs with a losing record. It’s not like they seem to care that much. “STARTING FOR THE ASTROS, CHASE DEJONG.”

Underwhelming. In 50.2 career innings he sports a 6.57 ERA.

The Rangers aren’t doing much better, sending Jordan Lyles to the mound. Lyles is 1-6 with a 7.08 ERA for the season, although on 9/17 he held the Astros to two runs in seven innings.

The real lineup is playing today after largely getting the day off yesterday. Martin Maldonado is one exception, resting his injured knee. He should be ready for Game 1 on Tuesday. Here it is.

The real season starts Tuesday. At this time it appears the Astros will face the Oakland A’s, although it is still possible that the opponent will be the Twins. The Astros playoff roster has not been determined.
