Zack Greinke got the start in game 2 of the doubleheader. In the first inning, he allowed a solo HR to Laureano to put the Astros down 1-0 early.

The Astros offense wasted no time taking the lead back. A Springer and Brantley single and a Gurriel walk loaded the bases for the red hot Kyle Tucker. Tucker continued his hot hitting connecting on a 3 run triple to give the Astros a 3-1 lead.

In the bottom of the 2nd inning, Springer added to the Astros lead absolutely crushing a 2 run HR to make it 5-1!

The Athletics tried to cut into the lead getting a run in the 4th on a Chapman solo HR, and then another run in the 5th on a LaStella RBI groundout to make it 5-3.

Greinke finished the game allowing 3 runs over 5 innings with 6 strikeouts.

The Astros picked up an insurance run in the 6th on a Gurriel sac fly to make it 6-3.

Ryan Pressly came on to close the game in the 7th and had a dominant outing as he struck out the side to seal the 6-3 win.
