The Astros are happy to host a Socal team after being swept in San Diego by the red-hot Padres. Hopefully a little home cooking against the last place Angels can put the hobbling Stros back in the winning column.

The Astros bring one of 2020’s pleasant surprises to the mound tonight, Framber Valdez, who brings a 1.72 ERA into this game. The Angels counter with Patrick Sandoval, 0-3, with a 5.40 ERA.

Alex Bregman will be out for three weeks it was reported.
