Winning streaks have to end eventually. After eight straight wins the good times stopped rolling in San Diego last night, as Lance McCullers couldn’t find his curve, and hitters stranded too many runners in a 4-3 loss.

Tonight one of the surprise rookies of the 2020 Astros season, Brandon Bielak, (1.69 ERA) takes the mound looking for his fourth win. His mound opponent is Zach Davies, (3-2, 3.25 ERA).

Alex Bregman was officially placed on the 10 day IL for his hamstring injury.

Jose Altuve seems to be finding his stroke of late, and is going back to his rightful place in the top of the lineup, #2.
