ALDS Game 4 Thread. October 8, 2020, 2:35 CDT. A’s @ Astros

The Astros blew a big chance to advance yesterday. But they can close it out today behind...Zack Greinke.

It had to happen eventually. It happens to the best of bullpens eventually. (See 2020 ALDS Games 1 and 2) Yes, the Astros bullpen melted down, coughing up a three run lead on the way to a 9-7 loss to the A’s.

Still the Astros have two more chances to advance to the ALCS. Today, they are putting it all on the line, going with the “sore-armed,” but medically cleared ace, Zack Greinke, with A-listers Cristian Javier, Enoli Paredes and Ryan Pressly relatively well-rested to close it out.

The A’s bring Frankie Montas to the mound, who is 3-5 for the year, with a 5.60 ERA.

Today is the day guys and gals.

Here is the lineup.
