With Gerrit Cole pitching tonight after the match-up between Charlie Morton and Justin Verlander last night, we will have seen probably the top three pitchers in the American league in a span of two games.
But Cole’s opponent tonight might be sleeper. Ryan Yarbrough has an 11-3 record for the year with a 3.29 ERA. However, as a starter he is even better, carrying a 2.70 ERA in 53 innings. Looks like it could be a pitcher’s duel. But that’s what we said last night, and the Astros won by two touchdowns, 15-1.
Here’s tonight’s Astros lineup.

In case you hadn’t heard, Yordan Alvarez had his 19th and 20th home runs last night. Is there anything he can’t do?
