The Astros fanbase remains confident in the management and direction of the team at almost 100%, as usual. Asked about whether the team should buy or sell at the deadline, every respondent said BUY!
I broke down the data league wide, and found that there were 17 fanbases who thought the team should buy, eight that said sell, and five that tended to prefer a stand pat policy
If front offices see it the same way, that means there are twice as many buyers than sellers, a bad harbinger for any team’s hopes of acquiring this year’s “Verlander.”
