The Astros lost ugly last night in Anaheim, 9-6, with primary pitcher Framber Valdez getting shelled for six runs (four earned) in four innings.
With injuries raging through the staff, the Astros turn to the opener concept again, with Hector Rondon starting the game, to be quickly replaced with Rogelio Armenteros, slated as the primary tonight.
Armenteros was just recalled from AAA Round Rock today for this game, while Valdez was sent down for the second time this year. This is Armenteros’ second stint with the big club this year and it will be his third major league appearance.
Here is tonight’s lineup and media access information.
