The Astros look to continue yesterday’s dominance in Game 2 against the Blue Jays

MLB: Toronto Blue Jays at Houston Astros Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

After a sound thrashing in Game 1 in which the Astros scored 15 and every Blue Jays run came off the bat of a Biggio, Game 2 sees the Astros turning to Framber Valdez. Valdez is 2-2 with a 2.73 ERA so far, and although there’s reason to be skeptical of his numbers remaining at that level, any worries about today specifically are worth countering with the fact that Houston will be facing Clayton Richard (0-2, 7.04 ERA). More details about today below:

Houston Lineup

  1. Bregman, SS
  2. Brantley, DH
  3. Gurriel, 3B
  4. Alvarez, LF
  5. White, 1B
