Another day of minor league action in the books. See the results below.

AAA: Round Rock Express (22-13) won 3-2 (BOX SCORE)

Hartman started for the Express and went 5 innings allowing 2 runs (2 solo HRs) while striking out 4. Tanielu put the Express on the board with an RBI walk in the 3rd. In the 5th, Tanielu added a 2 run single to make it 3-2. Garza tossed 3 scoreless innings in relief and McCurry tossed a scoreless 9th to pick up the save.

Note: Straw is hitting .361 over his last 10 games.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (17-17) won 2-1 (BOX SCORE)

Adcock got the start for Corpus Christi and tossed 3 scoreless innings with 7 strikeouts, though he did walk 4 and throw 80 pitches. The Hooks first run came in the 3rd on a Duarte RBI double. The Sod Poddles tied the game up in the 5th with a run on McKee. He was relieved by Ivey who threw 5 hitless innings while striking out 8. The game went to extras and in the bottom of the 10th, Benedetti connected on a walk-off RBI single to win it.

Note: Ivey has a 0.86 ERA with 6 BB/31 K in 21 innings this season.


A+: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (16-20)

Game 1 - lost 3-2 (BOX SCORE)

Mushinski got the start and turned in another fine outing allowing 2 runs over 6 innings of work. Beer put the Woodpeckers on the board with a solo HR in the first, his 8th of the season. The game went to the 7th with Fayatteville down 2-1 but they tied it on a Julks sac fly. Unfortunately the Keys were able to win in a walk-off in the bottom of the 7th.

Note: Mushinski has a 2.64 ERA with 43 K in 30.2 innings this season.

Game 2 - lost 3-2 (BOX SCORE)

France started game 2 and was solid allowing just 1 run in 4.1 innings while striking out 8. Arauz put the Woodpeckers on the board in the 4th with a 2 run HR, his 2nd of the season. The Keys battled back though scoring 2 in the bottom of the 7th to win in a walk-off.

Note: Beer is hitting .378 with 4 HR, 11 RBI over his last 10 games.
