Game Thread no. 142. Red Sox at Houston Astros. Sept 8, 2018, 3:05 CDT

The Astros took the first game of the three game series in Boston, finding their bats late but coming from behind to take a 6-3 victory over the AL East leaders.

Tony Kemp led the come back with a two run pinch hit double, but excellent pitching from starter Gerrit Cole and the bullpen kept the Sox potent offense under control.

Today Charlie Morton come back from a minor shoulder issue to face Eduardo Rodriguez, who in over 100 innings has 12 wins and a 3.34 ERA. Should be a tough match up.
