AAA: Fresno Grizzlies (59-43) won 2-1 (BOX SCORE)

James started for Fresno last night and was dominant striking out 11 over 6 innings while allowing just 1 unearned run. Fresno got their first run of the night in the 3rd inning on a White RBI single. In the bottom of the 6th, Tanielu came through with an RBI single to put them up 2-1. Ferrell, Giles, and McCurry all had scoreless outings in relief to close it.

Note: James has a 3.01 ERA with 139 K in 86.2 innings this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (63-38) lost 4-3 (BOX SCORE)

Adcock made his first AA start allowing 3 runs in 4 innings, with all 3 runs coming in the first. Quintana got the Hooks on the board with a solo HR in the 3rd. Perez relieved Adcock and tossed 5 scoreless innings allowing just 1 hit. The Hooks tied the game in the 8th on a Jones 2 run single. Unfortunately, they lost in in the 10th on a walk-off walk.

Note: Quintana is hitting .364 with 5 HR, 13 RBI over his last 10 games.
