AAA: Fresno Grizzlies (57-41) won 8-5 (BOX SCORE)

Dykxhoorn started for Fresno last night and turned in a quality start allowing 3 runs, 2 earned in 6 innings of work. Fresno got on the board quick scoring 2 runs in the first inning on a Reed sac fly and Jones RBI double. Reed added an RBI double in the 3rd for the Grizzlies 3rd run. Fresno picked up 2 more in the 5th on a Stubbs RBI triple and White RBI single. Reed capped off the scoring with a 3 run HR in the 7th. Deetz was great in relief but Giles struggled allowing two hits and a walk while retiring just one batter. Fresno won it fairly easily though 8-5.

Note: Marisnick is hitting .406 with 1.361 OPS in 9 games in AAA.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (62-35) won 4-1 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks jumped out to an early lead in this one scoring 2 runs in the first on on a Toro 2 run triple. They got two more in the 2nd on a Wrenn RBI groundout and a Quintana steal of home. Ryan Hartman started for the Hooks and allowed 1 run over 5 innings of work. Winkelman followed him with 3 scoreless innings and Pinales closed it out with a scoreless 9th.

Note: Hartman has a 2.85 ERA with 21 BB/100 K in 85.1 innings this season.


A+: Buies Creek Astros (55-43) won 6-1 (BOX SCORE)

Ivey got the start for Buies Creek and dominated this game. He struck out 9 over the first 4 innings and finished with 13 strikeouts over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run, which came on a sac fly in his final inning. The Astros got on the board on an Adams RBI groundout in the 2nd. Adams then added a 2 run HR in the 4th to make it 3-0. De La Cruz added some insurance with a 2 run single in the 8th. Ramirez closed the game out with 2 scoreless innings.

Note: Ivey has a 3.27 ERA with 19 BB/104 K in 82.2 innings this season.

A: Quad Cities River Bandits (53-44) lost 7-2 (BOX SCORE)

Solis got the start and allowed 2 runs over his 5.2 innings of work. The River Bandits got on the board in the 4th on a Lacroix RBI single. The bullpen was unable to keep the game close as Garcia and Castellanos allowed multiple runs. Quad Cities did pick up 1 run in the 8th on a Beer RBI groundout but that is all they would get as they lost 7-2.

Note: Beer is hitting .316 with 9 2B, 6 HR, 20 RBI in 32 games this season.
