Pitching Matchup

RHP Justin Verlander (9-4, 2.15 ERA, 154 SO) vs. LHP Sean Manaea (8-6, 3.33 ERA, 78 SO)

Yes, it's already July and Justin Verlander still has an ERA below 2.20.... It's a shame that he won't be able to pitch in the All Star Game, because he would definitely be the starter for the American League. However, I'm greedy as an Astros follower and glad he can save his arm a couple innings as we'll need him in October.

Tonight's Lineups

Congratulations to former Houston Astro and current Athletics 2B/DH Jed Lowrie for being named as a replacement on the American League All-Star roster. Lowrie is certainly off to a great start this season for Oakland and is deserving of the honor.
