With two rounds in the books, there are still plenty of talented prospects on the board. Houston Astros GM Jeff Luhnow and his staff will most likely be adding a catcher today, as Luhnow has a history of drafting at least one catcher in the early rounds and the minor league system is a bit lacking in depth and top level talent at the catcher position right now.
Other than that, who knows who the Astros will select on Day 2? With a talented farm system already, the Astros certainly will be looking to take the best player available at most slots but will definitely not be ignoring their needs either. If you thought the first day was hard to predict, the second day is even more difficult.
The third round of the draft will get started around 12:05 CST and run for who knows how long, so take some time and enjoy this draft thread throughout the afternoon.
