Pitching Matchup
RHP Justin Verlander (9-2, 1.60 ERA, 130 SO) vs. LHP J.A. Happ (9-3, 3.56 ERA, 102 SO)
Both of these veteran pitchers have been very effective so far in 2018 as Happ is just a few months older than Verlander and has not been quite as dominant so far this season. Verlander has now struck out 130 opposing hitters in 107.0 innings so far this season. It will be interesting to see how many strikeouts Verlander can rack up tonight as Toronto hitters are exactly average in the K% category at 15th out of 30 teams, not striking out too much overall.
