As winter finally descends upon us, we here at The Crawfish Boxes wanted to take a moment and thank each and every one of you who spent a little bit of your time with us this season.
While 2018 may have ended on a sour note, I know a lot of us wouldn’t have traded the joys we felt watching one of, if not the, best Astros team compete for another title. At TCB we’ve enjoyed every minute of sharing our thoughts and interacting with you. All of you who comment or simply take the time to read the content have made this year better than if we had simply watched the games.
The fact is, TCB is mostly a labor of love for us. It doesn’t pay the bills (though it does help to stock my mini-fridge), but we do this because we love the Astros and we know all of you do as well. We’re all here because we want to be, and we want to be because of you.
It means the world to us that a good number of you stayed as we transitioned management and writing teams to our current group of bloggers. We’re also thrilled that new readers have been popping up in the comments sections to lend their thoughts and voices to our growing community. TCB has really taken off in the last year to become a thriving community within this blog network because of all of you.
Of course, we still have work to do. We are still planning to produce content for all of you and will always strive to bring insight and discussion to this group of fans. We’ll cover the upcoming World Series, free agent signings, the winter meetings, trade acquisitions, and all things Astro as we gird ourselves for the 2019 season.
But, for the moment, the only thing we have to say is: Thank You.
