The Houston Astros had an emotional game one victory over the Mets, and now aim to sweep the doubleheader tonight.

Brad Peacock makes what might be one of his last starts in 2017 after the addition of Justin Verlander. Peacock is 1-1 with a 4.45 ERA during the month of August. He had two quality starts last month.

Jose Reyes is the only active Met with experience against Peacock. He is 1-for-6 with a strikeout.

Seth Lugo goes for the Mets, he is in his second season with New York. Lugo was 0-0 with 6.14 ERA in three starts during August. He dealt with right shoulder impingement and went on the DL last month.
