Brad Peacock hopes to wash the taste of Mike Fiers’ start out of Astros fans’ mouths. Peacock hasn't earned a decision in two starts during the month of September. But he has a 2.45 ERA and 1.00 WHIP (3 ER/IP) over that stretch. Peacock aims to continue his success on the road, he is 6-0 with a 2.95 ERA in 15 games (10 starts).

Peacock is 3-2 with a 4.64 ERA in 10 career games (7 starts), he is 0-1 with a 4.09 ERA in three games (two starts) in 2017.

Kole Calhoun (.158) and Mike Trout (.176) have struggled against Peacock in 17-plus bats. Yunel Escobar is 2-for-4 with two doubles of the Astros righty.
