Lance McCullers was scheduled to make the start on Wednesday but was scratched with arm fatigue. Thus giving Mike Fiers one more shot at starting for the Astros.

Fiers is 3-5 with a 6.59 ERA in 11 games (10 starts) since the All-Star Break. He has allowed eight earned runs over 5 1/3 innings during the month of September.

Fier is 3-1 with a 4.40 ERA in seven career starts against the Angels, he is 2-0 with a 2.19 ERA in two starts in 2017.

C.J. Cron, Yunel Escobar, and Albert Pujols each have two career home runs of Fiers. Mike Trout and Kole Kole Calhoun each have five strikeouts in 20 or fewer at-bats and both are batting under .250 against Fiers.

Tyler Skaggs gets the call for the Halos for Wednesday's start. He is 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA in two starts during September.
