Hell darkness, my old friend. I've come to talk with you again.

The Astros have dropped three games with the worst team in the AL West. And now currently are tied with the Indians for the best record in the AL for the first time in three months.

The Astros will send out their ace Dallas Keuchel in hopes of stemming the tide. Keuchel is 3-3 with a 4.86 ERA in eight starts since the All-Star Break. He ended August with a rough outing of six runs over six innings against Texas. But he rebounded with a quality start against Seattle, allowing two earned runs over seven innings.

Keuchel is 5-3 with a 2.39 ERA in 17 career games (15 starts) against the A's. He is 3-0 with a 0.83 ERA in three starts against the A's in 2017.

Khris Davis is 1-for-13 with a home run off Keuchel. Jed Lowrie is 11-for-38 with three doubles and six strikeouts. Marcus Semien is 6-for-22 against Keuchel.

Kendall Graveman goes for the A's on Sunday. He was 2-2 with a 5.57 ERA in six games during August. He opened September with a meh quality outing against the Angels, allowing four runs on five hits over five innings.

Graveman is 3-3 with a 3.99 ERA in eight career starts against the Astros. He is 0-1 with a 2.45 ERA in two starts in 2017.

Jose Altuve is batting .318 in his career against Graveman with a home run and no strikeouts. Evan Gattis is 3-for-11 with two home runs against Graveman and Marwin Gonzalez is 5-for-19 a home run.
