The Houston Astros finally pulled the trigger. Justin Verlander is now an Astro. Houston traded three top prospects for the 34-year-old ace.
The Astros have pushed their chips to the center on the final day to add an outside player to the Astros playoff roster.
It appears that Verlander was weighing his options to where he the next chapter of his career and help the Tigers the most with the return. Verlander picked Houston to go after a ring.
The Tigers for their part lowered the cost with a large amount of cash and a player to be named.
