The Houston Astros (57-27) improved to 30 games over .500 with a 16-4 win over the Atlanta Braves (40-42) on Tuesday. The Astros will send out RHP Joe Musgrove (4-7, 6.01 ERA) in game two.

Houston recalled Musgrove to make his 14th start after being optioned to Triple-A Fresno following nine runs over 3 2/3 innings against the Seattle Mariners on June 23. Musgrove pitched seven scoreless innings in his one Triple-A start, June 29 against Albuquerque.

Musgrove faces the Braves for the second time in his career, he allowed two runs over six innings in a win on May 10. Freddie Freeman and Adonis Garcia each had a solo home run against Musgrove.

LHP Jaime García (2-6, 4.35) starts for the Braves. García struggled during the month of June with a 0-3 record with a 6.75 ERA in five starts. García was 0-3 with a 4.62 ERA in six starts at home this season.

García faced Houston on May 10, he allowed four runs on six hits over six innings in a loss. García is 3-7 with a 6.36 ERA in 12 career starts against the Astros. Marwin Gonzalez is 4-for-9 with a home run against Garcia. Jose Altuve is .429 (9x21) with a double and two RBIs. Nori Aoki is 7-for-20 with three strikeouts.
