Preview

The Houston Astros continue to have success against the Baltimore Orioles. The Astros are 11-1 against the O's since 2016. The Astros aim to complete a sweep Sunday after the Orioles started the week by sweeping the Texas Rangers in a four-game series.

The Astros will lean on Lance McCullers Jr. to complete the sweep. McCullers returned from the disabled list in late June and he hasn't been able to find his form yet. McCullers is 1-1 with a 6.05 ERA during those four starts after the DL stint. He has allowed 15 runs on 25 hits over 19 1/3 innings.

McCullers is 3-0 with 1.80 ERA in three career starts against the Orioles. He has allowed four earned runs on 10 hits over 20 innings.

Jonathan Schoop (2-for-5) and Mark Trumbo (3-for-8) each have a career home run against McCullers. Seth Smith is 1-for-12 with seven strikeouts against McCullers. Chris Davis is 0-for-10 with six strikeouts.

The Orioles send out Dylan Bundy on Sunday. Bundy has been slowly backsliding in 2017, his April (1.65), May (3.92), June (5.93), and July (7.20) ERA has steadily increased. That said, Bundy is coming off his 13th quality start of the season, in which Bundy allowed one earned runs over six innings against the Rangers.

Bundy has one career appearance against the Astros, he gave up two hits and allowed one run without retiring a batter in 2016. Carlos Beltran is 0-for-6 with two strikeouts against Bundy. Brian McCann is 1-for-4 with a double. Jose Altuve has a walk in one plate appearance.
