Houston Astros LHP Dallas Keuchel is working his way back from nerve issues in his neck. Keuchel last pitched for the Astros on June 2 and he has already pitched in one rehab start with Double-A Corpus Christi on June 17 — allowing zero runs on two hits over three innings.
But Keuchel is now heading to Lowell, Massachusetts for what might be his final rehab start before rejoining the Astros. Keuchel will pitch for the Astros short season Single-A team, the Tri-City ValleyCats.
Keuchel last pitched for the ValleyCats in 2009 in his first minor league season after being drafted out of the University of Arkansas.

Keuchel will be opposite Tanner Houck for the Lowell Spinners, the Red Sox's 2017 1st round pick.
On the current timetable, Kuechel could be in line to start for the Astros during their road trip to Detriot this coming weekend.
If Keuchel does return, the Astros will have their full starting rotation for the first in 2017. Collin McHugh returns to the rotation for the first time on Saturday.
