New Rockets guard Chris Paul throws out the first pitch at the Astros-Twins game

CP3 with the strike.

The Houston Rockets pulled off one of the biggest moves this NBA offseason, trading for All-Star guard Chris Paul. On Friday, the Rockets hosted CP3 Day and held a press conference to introduce the newest addition to the Rockets roster.

Shortly after the intro, Paul took the short drive from Toyota Center to Minute Maid Park to throw out the first pitch at the Astros game.

Paul had on custom CP-3 Astros jersey and his two children accompanied him to the mound decked out in Astros gear. Including a pair of fly rainbow socks and jerseys.

The Astros gave Paul the royal treatment with Dallas Keuchel catching the pitch. Paul softly tossed in a strike. You can see here from the video:

But basketball can take a backseat to baseball for a little bit longer for now. The Astros have some winning to do before we get to the Rockets' season.
