The Houston Astros placed LHP Dallas Keuchel on the 10-day disabled list on Thursday with neck discomfort. Keuchel returned to Houston to be examined, reports MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart after talking with general manager Jeff Luhnow.

It is the second stint on the disabled list during the 2017 season. He was placed on the DL on May 27 as he was a pinched nerve in his neck.

Keuchel was scratched minutes before his start on Wednesday with an illness. Keuchel is the fourth starting pitcher to go on the disabled list for the Astros, joining Collin McHugh, Charlie Morton, and Joe Musgrove.

Keuchel, 29, had returned to his Cy Young from 2017. He was 9-0 with a 1.67 ERA in 11 starts.
