AAA: Fresno Grizzlies (26-30) won 3-2 (BOX SCORE)

Another win for Fresno, their 8th win in the last 9 games. Martinez got the start and was good again going 6.2 innings allowing just 1 run. Fisher got the Fresno scoring started with an RBI double in the 6th inning. After Tacoma tied it at 1 in the top of the 7th, the Grizzlies rallied right back getting an RBI single from Fisher. Fisher is now hitting .344 and has had multiple hits in 7 of his last 8 games.

Tacoma would tie the game in the 8th with an unearned run off of McCurry. Diaz picked up the final 2 outs of the 8th and tossed a scoreless 9th to keep it tied 2-2. In the bottom of the 9th, with two outs and a runner on 3rd, Tucker came through with an RBI single to walk it off. Tucker and Fisher are tied for the team lead in RBI with 39.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (28-27) won 5-3 (BOX SCORE)

Smith got the start for the Hooks last night and was unhittable. He went 5 perfect innings with 4 strikeouts. Over his last 5 outings he has the following line: 25 IP, 17 H, 1 ER, 4 BB, 25 K. Ferguson got the game started off right with a lead-off homer, his 6th HR of the season. In the 4th inning Davis connected on a solo HR to make it 2-0, his 13th of the season.

Bostick relieved Smith and allowed 3 runs in 3 innings. The Hooks got another run in the 7th on a Ferguson RBI single. Mayfield added an RBI single in the 8th to make it 4-2. Tulsa got within a run but the Hooks would add another in the 9th on a Tucker RBI double to go up 5-3. Dorris struck out 2 in a scoreless 9th to pick up the save.

A+: Buies Creek Astros (32-24) won 7-3 (BOX SCORE)

Valdez was on the mound last night for Buies Creek and while he only went 4.2 innings, he allowed just 1 run with 7 strikeouts. Buies Creek got the scoring started early on a Rogers RBI single and a DeGoti RBI double in the first inning. They got 1 more in the 2nd on a Straw RBI single scoring Johnson who tripled.

In the 4th inning, Sierra connected on a solo HR to make it 4-1. They got another run in the 5th on a DeGoti sac fly. In the 6th inning, Birk capped the scoring with a 2 run single making it 7-2. Ferrell relieved Valdez and went 3.2 innings allowing 1 run, though he did walk four.

Perez got the start last night and it has continued to be a mixed bag of results for him. He has made 7 outings with 2 being dominant, 2 being solid, and the other 3 being pretty bad. He went 5.2 innings in this one allowing 5 runs, 3 earned. Duarte got the River Bandits on the board with a solo HR in the 3rd inning. They would get 1 more run later in the 7th when Cameron doubled and scored on a wild pitch. Saldana and Hill both had scoreless outings in relief.
